Wooooooooooo SUN!!!!

That's a BIG Fish for sure.

I'd bet that there's one like it or better in Quinte.

Too bad he had to take it a shore for the weighing process- bet the fish didn't go back.

Thanks for the link Len. That is a pig.

What is the biggest for Quinte?

The largest I saw was on the wall at a bait shop in Deseronto 10 years ago. Don't remember the name of the place, but they closed up years ago. It was down the street from Fox Motor Inn (also closed). That had a plaque stating it was 17.6 lbs!! It looked it!!

Russ invited me and my dad and Neil to come see his mounted fish - what a beauty! About 20 and a half as I recall. I think he caught it Christmas eve, right in Picton harbour.

{sigh} Those were the days....

That is quite the walleye. It is a shocker to a lot of BC residents that the Columbia actually has some on the Canadian side in Castlegar. I have not fished the Columbia for walleye but have fished it for sturgeon below the Bonnyville Dam, near Portland Oregon. Hopefully this spring I will se what this large river is all about.
