Here is the situation.

Leaving Woodstock @ 2:00 A.M. this upcoming Saturday morning.

Driving with Car and walking out with Clam with a friend.

If you were in my boots, and you were willing to walk about 1/2 mile max, where would you go as a best bet for famous Quinte Eyes?

Opinions appreciated.

Cheer

I was at Sherman point Last Saturday for 3 hours about 200 yards in, caught two 6 pound kept for eating two nine pound and one 11 pound released quickly did not even took the picture it was too cold. Few people took there cars and i saw one Suburban on the ice, looks like driving up the spot is not a bad idea. If you like to know what I used please write me an email @ sales@durapc.com

I would go to rush bar or head up to deseronto somewhere you can walk out with your clam or even better the west side of the bay bridge. Its a two minute walk and just go straight out from the boat launch, don't get to close to the bridge I don't know how the ice is there but there is a foot of ice straight out and I caught fish there. If you go there make sure you try different spots to locate them drill a bunch of holes. you will see a stick with ribbon on it and I would get north of that about 30 yards and maybe west of it. If you don't catch them there I would go test the ice closer to the bridge but more towards the rock piles were the old bridge was but be carful make sure you check the ice often if you decide to do it. There is fish there for sure. YOU don't catch fish there head to rush bar which is about 15 mins from there. good luck

Thanks for your help

I know where the Bay Bridge is, not sure about the boat launch but am sure it would be easy to find.

Where is Rush Bar?

Thanks again.

Cheers
