This is how I set out my pattern, first I scan the Bay. Mainly looking for ATV tracks. As light comes I set my focus on looking into the horizon. This is the tricky part cause it's very hard to see as the light is changing. At first appearance it looks like a polar bear ( sounds like one too if you get too close ) My whole setup depends heavily on finding "Hardwater Walleye", once you spot the white camo suit he wears "close in" but stay out of arms reach. I always tell him "you can take me with you or I'll just follow you, your choice" My fishing has been great this and it's been fun...Gary
P.S. the real key to this pattern is getting up early enough and having enough gas in the 4wheeler to find him.
