How far out do you have to walk - also whats the parking like there. Thinking of going on friday and saturday. Usually fish at huffs but i just have a little car this weekend and dont want to park on the ice with it.

I ususally walk about half way across the bay. Not too far, perhaps 1/2 km. Parking is good. It appears as thoough somebody actually plows the parking lot. If you don't know where there ramp is, it is at then very end of Bayview Drive.

Follow the River Rd. out of Napanee along the river and along Long Reach, to Bayview Drive. Turn right and follow that to the end. It ends in the parking lot for the boat ramp. Napanee to Bayview Drive is a bit of drive. I'm not certain of the distance but it must be at least 10 km.
