Finally, we have a bait shop in Kingston. :D

I picked up minnows today for some pike fishing in Verona without needing to pack a lunch for a lengthy travel.

Here's the information for those interested.

Hunters Live Bait,
573 Princess St.
613-583-9094
Tom Foley (owner)

I'm not affiliated with it so hopefully he won't mind me posting this. Bait is a great price and the quality looks bang on.

Yahoo!!!

Cheers

Haven't had a chance to stop by and check the bait shop, but will get down soon and see his wares.

I wonder if this is the same Foley family that I knew playing hockey in Napanee. I am curious.

It is good to see a shop is in Kingston.... I hope they have done their homework as I and others believe they could do well.

He's a young guy.....maybe mid 30's?

The tackle selection is really bare. That will change when the season does I'm sure.

The minnows were fantastic. The quality is the best I think I've ever had. It was I think around $12 for 3 dozen....1 dozen med shiners, and 2 dozen med muds. A lot better than the $9 a dozen I paid a few weeks ago.

Cheers
