Quinte Fishing

I am new to the topic of handheld GPS. Can any body give me information on which one is the best for all around use ie. hunting, fishing and street navigation. Is it determined by price? or is there one that will do it all, at a good price? I have a raincheck for the Garmin eTrex Summit. Any feedback re this one? Thanks in advance for your comments. bayboy

I personally like the ones with the mapping. For just a little more, the eTrex Legend will give you mapping. I have a Vista CX with the Topo maps loaded.

I have a garmin 60C it's a few bucks but is amazing. Gives you the chane to add bluechart maps for marine maps also many other mapping choices. In my opinion garmin makes the best handheld units

Garmin is a dependable product, have hand held and model for the boat, no problems in last 5 years
