just wondering if anyone knows does walleye open by may 5th weekend in georgian bay area,Ive heard conflicting reports

Im not sure but from what I see in the regs, you should wait till the 2nd Sat. in May. Call your local MNR office, they can tell you.

Don't know what the heck I was thinking.. For whatever reason duh.. I was looking at inland areas, not Georgian Bay. Sorry.. Division 16 is the correct area you'd mention and the walleye look to be open the 1st of May. Odd that they are so early yet so far north..

Sorry buddy, it's been one of those days for a few weeks now..
