Headed out to the cable last night with my bro, about a dozen boats trolling back and forth and more were arriving after us. We trolled for about 3 hrs and only had a few serious hits. Everything else was perch taps. Only saw 2 nets go over the side of other boats but people were saying they were getting small ones.

Surface temp of water was 67-68 which is up quite a bit since last saturday. I was able to mark quite a few fish but all seemed to be sitting right on bottom and most were smaller, a few big ones suspended but not many.

Enjoy the upcoming weekend.

Thanks for the update, Maverick.

At first glance, it looks like it's a hot spot with the amount of boats. :?

Good luck.

When I was fishing the Belleville area the other night I thought I was getting perch taps to but after slowing the troll down a little and dropping my pole back at the right moment, relized that most of these taps were EYES. Might not be the casre out by those lines bcause I know it gets thick with Perch. I love that spot tho it always has some big ones roaming!
