Me & My Partner Ahsan Launched boat on Saturday morning May 19 from Deseronto at 5:00 am went straight to Mohawk bay tried worm harness for ½ hour few perch and one Walleye about 18”, action was slow decided to troll long reach picked up Two Walleye one was 19” and other 23”, by noon pulled the boat out and went straight to Motel for afternoon nap. 6:00pm reached at Deseronto launch again and met Eye tracker, real gentleman gave me few tips with bunch of stick bait and we tried hard but not even one bite.
Sunday morning went out again start trolling with in line planner board and in 5 minutes picked up Pike about 6 Lbs. then 5 walleyes from 19” to 23” and finished the day at 1:00pm.
Monday morning was great for us spend 5 hours at Sherman point picked up 12 Walleyes all decent size 20” to 27” and called the day off at 11:30am, we kept 8 fish between two and rest of big ones are still swimming.
Bait and techniques were given by Eye tracker, one again Thanks to Sheldon hatch.

Nice job on the fish. Eye Tracker is very helpful and is always trying to point people in the right direction.

Hey Desi and Ahsan,

Glad you got them to go and the baits and techniques worked for you. I always like to see people catch fish and have a good time on the water.

Best of luck next time you head out on Quinte.

See you on the water...

-sheldon

Hats off to eye tracker, not many like that out there. I can't stand the guys that keep secrets like they have the Kernal's secret recipe or something. Ain't nobody gunna fish out the bay, at least not in this lifetime. Most people just want to have a little success instead of wasting precious time. Not many people have the time to fish or the equipment to fish every area of the bay to find them and figure out what they want. I am not saying that the guys that do should share all there hot spots and methods but even if they could put you on the right track sure makes it enjoyable for everyone. I always try to be helpfull and pass on my findings on where I have success and not so much success. We all need to help one another, we are a dying breed. We need to get our kids involved to preserve our precious sport and teach them fishing edicuit, safety and sportsmanship as well as follow good management practices.
