Another great fishing trip was enjoyed by the Ayr Sportsman on the BOQ. For the 21st year our gang of 30 or so fisherman have seen the complete walleye cycle of good years, a few down years, and I would say that it appears the good years have returned. Trolling single blade worm harness or Mepps spinners tipped with worms produced excellent catches throughout our 3 day stay at Sunset Farms. It appeared that if the water was flat we had to go to 15' plus water, but if there was a ripple or small chop the fish showed up in 8' to 12 ' of water. We were fortunate enough to not only enjoy great hospitality, but a couple great fish frys and lots of fish returned to catch another day. The area is truly a world class fishery.
