Harry,

I saw this on Walleye Central and saw you were interested in Niagara River.

Harry,
I do a trip down to the bar every spring. Usually head out to the bar to jig up lakers. My best was a 15lb laker. I imagine the bar can be quite nasty as a few times we have made the drive down only to find it too rough to fish.

Usually fish the Queenston drift for rainbows ,have been down to the bar twice. Besides Lakes and rainbows is there any chance of catching some pickerel there?and is there a closer ramp then the queenston one?Great area ,just need to try it a little more.
thanks in advance for any help, also thanks superdad for the link.
Fish On :)

Harry,
I think there is a launch closer but you have to cross the border. It is on the US side close to the fort. For all the hassle Queenston is the best.
