We have caught our limit of Pickeral twice each weekend for the past 3 weeks until this weekend. This was a funny fish weekend. We caught a 9 lb channel cat (catfish) and ran into a school of Gar Pike and caught one that was about 4 ft. long. SHARP teeth - my son was holding him for photo and he swung his head and cut my son's neck. Not to badly, he is fine. Also caught a few 6 lb sheep head and just a couple of 2 lb pickeral. Last weekend and and the weekend be before, we caught a 6 lb +. Have tried a number of different lewers. Caught almost all fish Mepps 4 and worm and Erie Deery with worm in about 11 to 13 ft of water.

Enjoy the pics. My son pulled the channel cat in today and it took him about 5 minutes. He is just 10 years old.

This is our first year fishing seriously and we are having a ball on the Bay of Quinte.

Can anyone tell me where I can get taxidermy done locally for fish? The Channel Cat would have been fun to have on my son's bedroom door.

Great pics.
I had a funny night last night too, caught 3 bass and a 8lb pike all on a
worm harness trolling. No eyes for me though last night. Oh well, have to
wait 'til next weekend for a fish fry.

Cancel that, I now realize that one must be logged in to view the photos.
