Chinook are starting to appear off Wellington in Lake Ontario. CLOSA members were out last weekend boating several around 20lb mark as well as Rainbows to 10lbs.

They are at Wicked Banks and Scotch Bonnet all boats were getting fish on Saturday, Salmon King got 4 chinook all weighing between 16lb to just over 26lb., Yesterday was slow everywhere some caught but not like on Saturday. Water temperature was very cold on the surface 49.5celuis had been 62celuis, the warmer water has dissapeared with the strong north winds we had last week. I suspect in a couple days will be back up and the bait will return with bait you will catch Salmon; at least that is what they tell me :wink: .
