Just a quick note about the weekend fishing.
Fri & Sat were both good days for the fishers at Thompsons Cove, several boats reported good catches of nice sized (19-21") walleyes.
We landed a nice pair (16" & 18") on the Orange Uzick, one at Thompsons and one at Mallory.
Everyone had high hopes as we headed out on Sunday morning, there were seven boats at Thompsons and we trolled up and down, notwithstanding the FLOATING WEEDS. MY Dad got a 28" Pike fishing in 6' of water - didn't get cut off.
It was the only net we saw over the side of any boat - the fish shut down!!!!!!!!
As I look out on Hay Bay this morning(0845), there has been a strong SW wind blowing. A real positive walleye chop......
Stay Tuned
