Well we had a great time up on the bay this weekend other that the wind and lack of walleye fillets  How did everyone else do?We mainly drifted jigs and trolled for them, picked up a few nice northerns and a bunch of 7-8 pound catfish saturday and sunday morning.I was wondering how you guys do on the ice for the eyes,I love to ice fish and would like to make a trip up there sometime.

Hay Bay has good ice fishing, many fish off the Old Church and off the Shermans Pt Launch ramp.

We just walk out and drill a hole a fish away.

You can get minnows from Dew Drop In, which is quite close to Shermans Pt Launch.

Watch the board and you'll see what some fishers are doing when the ice is ready for fishing.

Yes, It sure was windy on Saturday, as I posted we got a fine pair of eyes.

Lots of good ice fishing spots on the Bay: The reach (when safe), Big Bay, Hay Bay, Picton Bay, etc. All can hold fish. The size of the fish is INCREDIBLE. Fish probably average 6 to 8#.
