3 days of fishing with my son-in-law from Ottawa. 26th Fished Mallory Bay and Sherman's Point between 2 p.m.-6. Just perch caught. Tried for Walleye and Bass.
27th: Thompson's Point and Bay; Sherman's Point; part of the North Shore east of Sherman's. 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Son-in-law caught one 15" Walleye at Thompson's Bay; and released it to grow "longer". Black spinner; single blade; worm. More perch.
28th: Just perch. Fished by the church; Thompson's Bay; Sherman's Point. 10:30-12:30 and 2:30-4:00. Lost a nice fish in the morning. Don't know what it was. Lots of rain and winds. Stayed on shore for the thunder. 3 other boats out at Sherman's. Did not see any action there. Tough fishing. Tried it all. Took the boat out at Sherman's point-no problem. Water low, but ok.
Lots of luck.

Any one catching any thing in Hay Bay area?

Hey BayBoy,

Another few days of no action, it's slow to say the least.

Saw your bateau out of the water - lots of fishing to go.

Cheers

David

Hi Superdad:
Shoreline too shallow with high winds lately, to leave "Baygirl" in full time. Not giving up yet. :D

I fished Thompson Bay near the weed line in 15 to 20 fow . We got 3 nice eyes ......two 3 # and one 4# using a chartreuse worm harness with a willow leaf blade and a 3 way set up drifting with a stiff sw wind ! Got a very large white perch also and a few yellow jumbos as well .
