Didn't get a chance to post the fishing last week- so here it is:
Fished Wednesday with Ohio Joe or rather we bounced around in the four footers blowing from the southwest. We drifted from Thompsons to Shermans and from Witlow Pt to Ram Is. Total - one walleye 7" The winds were wild......
On Thusday, Hay Bay was like a mill-pond- flat and covered with algae, trolling thru peasoup. Perfectly Pat and I headed over the pig farm and fished there and the Old Church weed bed, we missed a walleye hit but the perch were very active and we kept some for a nice perch filet lunch. Out for about 2 hours. Ohio Joe and his wife landed one about 18" in the same area.
Ohio Joe and I headed out late Friday (after 1700) for a short fishover by Mallory Bay, trolled cranks and on a line from Q6 to the Fairway Buoy, Joe landed and nice 19" eye on a Reef Runner, he had another strike but missed it.
There had been a couple of fish caught in that area earlier in the day on cranks.
Thankgiving is in Kingston and will be winterizing on Tuesday/Wednesday.
Hope to get out again soon.
Stay Tuned
