Joanne & I fished on Friday from around 10 - 3:30 east of the Ferry with only a perch off of a rigger to show for it. He hit a Reef Runner in pink and yellow that was probably bigger than him! We started just east of the lighthouse and worked our way back on the north shore and then crossed over to the south shore. We decided to try the Reach between Mallory and Sherman's from 3:30 to 5pm and hit 2 nice ones within a few minutes of each other. 24.5 and 22 inches.

Saturday we got one in 3 hours - 25 inches

Sunday had a 25 and 17 incher

Monday - nada!

All fish were caught on the hot pink and yellow Reef Runners. We ran all different colors and combos but only the one color worked this weekend. We tried shallow and deep with boards and flat lines and only the riggers on Friday.

I noticed most of the fish hit when we were turning the boat on the outside boards and lines which leads me to think they're wanting the lures to go faster! I was trolling 1.5 - 2.3 mph in a straight line but they tended to hit as we were making our turns and always on the outside boards and lines. Anyways, will probably be up this Saturday for another go.

cheers
Ken & Jo
