I know I am way ahead of myself but I would like some info as to where to launch my boat for next year's Walleye World weekend tournament. I had such a blast during the last tourney and I know I will be back for next year's event. We are from Pembroke and we only have a 14 foot Aluminum boat with a 6 Hp engine. I heard that out at the cement plant the fish were biting like crazy. Is it possible to run such a small boat there? Any ibfo would be appreciated. Thanks.

There isn't any place you can't use a 14 footer - you just have to watch the weather and know your limits.

If the wind is mild, fishing at the cement plant can work.

If 2008 is anything like 2007 (spawn being late), then launching at Hay Bay would be good as there were many fish caught there, including the winner.

Coming from Pembroke, will bring right to Napanee and Hay Bay or Mohawk Bay.

Lots of time to make a final decision.
