Quinte Fishing

Drove from Hay Bay Larry's past Bayview Resort(had a look - everything looks fine with the trailers). Saw some open water just beyond the Grass Island and some thin looking parts between Ram Is and the north shore.

Saw a couple of fishers out several hundred yds from the South Shore Launch Ramp and drove to the Shermans Launch site and saw a couple of fishers out more than 200 yds from shore.

Didn't go down the Huff Rd to see over there, but couldn't see anyone out on the ice from the road. There was open water around Forresters Is and couldn't spot anyone on Mohawk Bay.

The air temp was plus 1.

That's what I saw, I think I'll wait a little longer before I make my yearly excursion out on the ice..........

Manufacturing UZICK Spinners for over 25 Years

Hey there Superdad...Must of been kind of hard drivig by "The Trailer" and knowing that you won't be using "Bob's Fillet Station". Having enjoyed Bayview since about '79/80. Living in the Ajax area doesn't allow me as much time as I would like for one of those drive arounds , so it's nice to be able to read about your "VIEWING POINT" today on the local conditions. As the years have gone by, I still make it a point to fish all those waters about 25-40 times a year. I seldom respond to topics but todays drive around was very much appreciated so a response was do. THANKS FAST EDDIE
