Quinte Fishing

Nice day on the water and better results then last weekend.
Went out with couple friends east of the ferry.
This week we fished in 140FOW down 50ft.
We caught 3 nice walleye and 2 golden bass if you know what I mean guys

I dont keep fish from boq bigger then 3lb but my friend wanted them for dinner
i fish with lot of different people and if some of them want to eat big fish from lake Ontario thats their desicion i cant stop them.
I know what you are trying to say and I am with you on that.

Nice Fish.... But..... That's disgusting. Maybe you should let your buddy read the guide to eating Ontario sport fish, or tell him that the big ones don't taste nearly as good and let him now how much contaminants are in them.

That's a real shame, those big EYES really need to go back. I know your allowed to keep one big one, but really those big fish serve no purpose on a table. Even if you wanted to mount a trophy, a replica is the better way to go anyway.

Not only do the big ones taste lousy, they're also hazardous to your health! I guess everyone makes the mistake once. I remember back in the early 90's keeping some ten-pounders. Blech. Never again. The "unfortunate" thing about this time of year is that it's hard to catch a fish small enough to keep!
