Ice fishing at Bradleys Bay ?

Anyone been out to the locks for crappie yet, there must be good ice out there by now ?

Is Bradley Bay not in area 6 the Kawarthas if so there is no ice fishing in that area.

Yes it is, funny that many folks fish for crappie there. I have not been there in the winter but have heard from others that the crappie fishing can be pretty good. Thanks for pointing that out, its kind of strange that the MNR would allow ice fishing for only for crappie.

Fished there yesterday lost of Ice (8 inchs). There are 7 or 8 ice huts in the lock I never seen a fish. :oops:

Sorry to hear the crappies were uncooperative

, I have seen lots there in the early spring, but they are really hard to catch during the winter. They have to be one of the spookiest fish, they'll move at the slightest noise on the ice. Better luck next time George and thanks for the info !
