After fishing the last 2 sundays in a row. I decided to skip work for a day and try to connect with some fish. Again I marked many fish east of the ferry. Wish I could Post something guys. All we came away with was windburn.

Most everyone east of the ferry commented that the bite was very slow. I did see someone at the ramp leave with 2 nice fish. I dident get the chance to talk with them.

Good luck out there guys!

fished 8am - 2:30pm
water temp 56F

fisherboy_01 and myself were out today as well from about 7:30 to 12 and managed to boat 2 fish around 4 lbs. Both were right out in the middle between the bat cave and the north shore.

We started fishing the north shore where eye-tracker put us onto fish on sunday but the fish were deep and spread out..after about two hours..we pulled up and started looking for some more concentrated schools and higher active fish. We found a couple bait clouds and fish from 30 - 50 suspended around the bait. It didn't take long for the first rod to fire then about 30 min later the same rod fired again.

Heres the kicker. When fisherboy_01 won the charter I donated to the WHIP derby he asked if could bring some lures with him. I told him to chose is best lure and I'd chose my best lure. I'd put $20 on the dash and who ever caught the most fish wins the $20. In my defense the lure he chose didn't catch anything...I feel obligated to mention neither did mine, however it was one of his lures (fire tiger tail dancer) that caught both fish. So in a nut shell not only did I do a free charter but I PAID him $20 on top of it. Eye tracker look out there is a new walleye pro on Quinte!!! :D All in all it was a fun day. It was fun getting to know fisherboy_01 (it was not fun losing my $20 though...I want a rematch), and I feel fortunate to have boat something for our efforts. The bite was really slow.

1lastcast, what kind of boat were you in? We were in a red Lund Tyee with a Honda on it. I saw a few boats along the South side of the reach around the bat cave about 10 ish. Were you in that group?

Both fish were on a #1 dipsy out 130 feet with a fire tiger tail dancer behind it. The setup up eye tracker was using on Sunday.

I was in a New white/beige Legend xcal with a merc main and kicker. I did notice that in the 90ft depth range the fish marked at around 50ft. I stayed in around 60ft of water and at times marked many large fish. good size arches at least in around 30ft - 35ft.
