It’s that time of year to get ready for Walleye fishing on the Bay of Quinte area. As a result of our Canadian currency getting stronger we felt that we would pass the savings on to our customers. All of our hard baits Rapala, Bomber, Arbogast, Cotton Cordell, Heddon, Rebel, Storm, Renosky and more have been reduced by a minimum of 10% and others have been reduced up to 30%. These price reductions will be in effect until the end of December and then turn our efforts over to the ice fishing season.

Effective immediately we have the following great prices on the following walleye lures.

All Mann’s Stretch 20+ baits including Dr. Death and Blueberry Muffin on for 7.49

All Reef Runner lures Ripstick and Deep Divers on for 6.99

Ripstick 700 series and Deep Divers 800 series
    Chrome Blue
    Chrome Black
    Green Perch
    Cheap Sunglasses
    Fried Chicken
    Purple Demon
    Eriedescent
    Wonderbread
    Rainbow Trout
    Black Prism
    Blue Tiger
    Firetiger
    Barbie
    Chartreuse Pearl
    Orange Pox
    Emarld Shiner
    Fruit Loops
    Purple Prism
    Metalic Perch
    Mooneye Minnow
    Watermelon
    Perch
    Spotted Frog
    Gold Clown
    Glowby
    Kryptonite
    Rebel Queen
    Silver Bullet
    Pink Lemonade
    Bubble Gum
    Texas Red

    Flame

All Yo-Zuri deep diving lures on for 7.99

    GB – Gold Black
    CR – Clown
    PC – Perch
    CL - Chartreuse
    B – Blue Silver
    GHBL – Purple Black
    GHPR – Pearl Red
    GHCS – Chartreuse
    HT – Hot Tiger
    PK – Fluorescent Pink
    PU - Purple

We will have our minnows in stock in approximately 2 weeks and our price will be 2.50 a dozen (taxes included) right through to the end of ice fishing season. I will not be putting our boat away until we have ice on the bay this year and I look forward to seeing everyone on the bay and we will be pleased to report on the progress of the fishing on the Bay of Quinte. During the ice fishing season we will be opening our store at 5:30 am for all of the out of town ice fisherman arriving in the area.

When you come into the Bay of Quinte area drop in and visit and we will have the coffee on.

Best regards,

Sam and Laurie

Another batch of Yozuri's and Manns Stretch 20+ and Reef Runners have arrived at the same deal.

We are having a great response and should not have any issues with keeping the stock on hand healthy.

Best regards,
Sam

I was in to Sam's on Saturday, met him, and picked up some lures at these great prices. Pretty hard to beat given the alternatives for getting the same lures.

Sam I will let you know how they work.

Hey Sam,

Do you have the Berkley Gulp product? I'm looking for the "Gulp Alive" Garlic Spray and 2.5" Gulp Minnow, Smelt color. If so, what are your prices?

Thanks, Hodgey

Sam, is indeed the man :!: Hope to see you on the water this fall Sam. I'm loving the 115 Evinrude. Thanks again for your help getting me back on the water this summer.

Thanks 1lastcast, steve-hamilton & Ken and Jo for your kind words. Yes you will see me on the water this fall, in fact I got a phone call from a friend of mine that lives at Cressy and he caught a 33" walleye weighing in at 11.5 lbs. All this means is that the walleye are coming in at the gap and working their way towards our baits.

Still the area to be in is east of the ferry as reports have it and I should be hitting that area hopefully sometime this week. I am staying off the water on weekends as our store has been far too busy for me to escape. It also seems to be the times everyone is coming up and I look forward to meeting everyone and greeting them.

By the way 1lastcast nice boat had a quick peek when I dropped the lures off.

Best of luck everyone with your fishing and remember to be safe and return with reports, we look forward to reading them.

Best regards,
Sam

Sam ~ Thanks. I love this boat! Its a 2007 18ft Legend xcal with a 115 Merc Opti and a 8hp 4stroke kicker. Its a big upgrade from my last 14ft tinny. Usally this time of year Im waterfowl hunting. But now I just can't put this boat away for the winter yet!!

Question: Do you sell Lowrance products? Im already starting to think about upgrading the currant sonar unit to a larger color/gps unit. Im thinking 7" screen.

No I wish I did. I have a X50 it came with the boat included in the package.

Im looking at the LCX-27c at the moment. With the dollar being so good I may end up shopping in watertown for this baby. Although I like to keep my money in Canada.
