Night shore fishing for those big eyes

heys guys was just wondering if anyone could let me know when and where the best places to night time shore fish for walleye would be, and some good lures to use ?

not shure of the best places but meirs peir is allright from time to time and the bay bridge is allright to i use just about every thing crank baits mostly but do some jigging to, it gets fish

can anyone tell me how to get to the bridge with car?
is there a road to drive up or do I need to park and walk some?
Im not familiar with area and have no clue,I do no how to get to the pier though its the bridge I wana no about

Hi Legend,

To get to the bridge continue along Dundas St. and turn south on 62 (Ramada Inn) and just over the bridge turn west (right) and there is a parking lot there and you will be in the right spot. Chances are you will see others there fishing. If you are fishing at the Pier or know where it is lately it has been producing real well. Last night was a great night and many that fished there did real well.

On the pier it seems to come in spurts and does go well most of the night.....if you are in a boat, some of the guys have been running spinners with worms and doing real well trolling between Myers Pier and the bay bridge and have been catching their limit consistently.

You can fish from the dock in Picton bay. Last weekend a lot of big eyes were caught there late at night, just in front of the boat ramp.

thanks guys, hopefully I can sneak down one night next week perhaps...of course its getting colder this weekend

also,can you ice fish near the bridge or pier? any huts to rent?
or does the water move too much around that area and is unsafe?
or is it better somewhere else like picton bay or shermans point?
