Hi pasarge,

The Picton harbour is your best bet and you will have to be careful. It was very slippery this morning with ice on the ramp. We are getting some real cold weather in the next week and the ramp will be slippery.

Regards,
Sam

If we get the cold weather they are calling for Picton harbour will likely be frozen over. Go toward the ferry to Glenora marine the dock may be out but you can still launch there or cross on the ferry there is a launch there as well. Get some sand even if you have 4x4.

Steve-

What an amazingly ignornant thing to say about the Sportsman's Motel in Picton. Our group just completed a 2 week stay at the Sportman's and had very good accomendations - this was our seventh year staying - Chris and Anna have always bent over backward to provide any service to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be coming back next year.

i guess you just have to book for 11 days in december, receive confirmation, then get a call to say they are closing for december.

then having to scamble so that your vacation is not ruined.

then find out they are open in december, after telling you they will be closed.

popia, not so ignorant is it!
