I had plans of getting out and jigging around the Skyway bridge tomorrow ( from the boat), just wondering if it's all iced up or not?... can I get launched???????

Not sure what bridge it is but if its the bridge you cross when leave picton to the 401. I passed over it Sunday morning and there were ice chunks all over the place.

Ya, that's the bridge.....don't know if I'm concerned about the chunks of ice..... I guess the launch is the most important thing....if there's chunks floating around... the shoreline is likely iced up too

from what I saw I wouldn`t be trying to navigate a boat in that.

You will have to wait until ice fishing.

The water around the Skyway bridge was icing up on friday when we crossed over. It's now had 2 more cold days to cover up even more.

We passed over it on Sunday at around 1pm and it looked pretty iced up. Very hazardous to boat that's for sure. And it's only been colder since that time. Actually from what we could tell, the narrows in either direction were getting along quite nicely, ice wise.
