Hey guys
I've always wanted to try Quinte through the ice. I'm looking to make my first trip on Wednesday. My plan was to hit one of the bait stores early, and get a feel for where i can walk out. Can anyone please guide me in the right direction. I fish simcoe regularly, and know the spots to look out for in terms of danger spots. Quinte, I have no clue. I'm not looking for GPS spots or anything, just areas where I can fish among the crowd and not have to worry about dangerous spots.
thanks for any help
Tambo

Sorry I myself can not help you there since I have not been out since Friday and the rains. Your best bet would be to watch this board later tomorrow afternoon and evening and get caught up on some of the reports. Maybe pm a few of the posters for a little more info after they post. Get to the baitshops in the morning. Ron at Skevy's should be able to help a bit he is on Dundas St. in the plaza beside the Tim Hortons by the Bay Bridge. You will also have Sam up at Cara's in the industrial park on Adams St. beside the Sunoco on Canifton Rd.
Both are sponsors here and if you click on thier adspace above it will give you locations and phone numbers.

Hi Tambo,

I sent you a map and some info. You can check in with the bait shops as stated as well. Make sure you pick up some minnows while you are at it!

Good luck!

Jeff
