The ice may have deteriorated as of late but it was OK last Wed.
Red and I did well with 15 fish landed (and several lost by yours truly) with the largest at 11Lbs 11Oz.
We were also out last Sun in the pouring rain. 50+ perch and 8 'eyes.
It should be noted that we both wear float suits. We also rope off with a fifty foot rope and spud our way out.
You can never trust the ice this early!

Regarding the 11 pounder yes it was released, as were most of our fish , did keep a couple eaters , !!!!! JUST SET THE HOOK !!!!! :D :D :D

Yes. We release ALL fish over a couple pounds. Quick weight, quick pic and off they go! Unless I break 15 Lbs...then I might want a mount. Maybe graphite though....
Anyone who eats fish over a couple pounds from The Bay is an idiot in more ways than one.
