Was out at first light,5" of ice everywhere we checked.Stayed most of the day,1 walleye 18", and another almost 6" which we ate raw(jk). We also kept 20 large perch with many others going back to grow. About 15 people were out for the morning fish, and maybe 20 for the afternoon. Only saw a few other walleye caught as well as a nice pike.
Talked to one guy who fished Shermans in the morning, said he saw nothing caught at all over there and nada marked on the vex. He said there was maybe 4" of ice max over there.
Be careful and test your ice if you have to drown your muds.
