Have not been out to Point Anne or Rush Bar myself for a few weeks but I did talk to a few that were out there.
Same as before some good and some not so good ice. Talked to the one gentleman who punched a few holes in 7-8 inches of ice and the punched 2 holes only feet away and was on 3 inches.
Likely why the view count is high, a lot of people interested and not sure how to post on ice conditions. Rush bar is the same as Point Anne and is okay if you know were to go and spud if you are unsure.
Big Bay has been good that said it is still your responsibility to watch the ice that you are on. 8-10 inches in parts with 5-6 in others and less in the shallow currents.

Well why did you not stop and say hello Rob?
On Big Bay myself today and found the ice okay where I was. Went out at 5:30 this morning and fished it all day until 5:30 tonight. Landed 3 eyes sent 1 back, and keep 7-8 nice perch. Just over 1/2 mile out from shore and 1/4 way from Allison Rd. - Baycrest
