Quinte Fishing

Just got back from a drive to the skyway bridge at Deseronto, open water right to shore near the lighthouse and under the bridge looks thin.Took a drive up past the airport and down to narrows at the lighthouse, all open, you could put a small boat in there with no problem. that's it for me ice fishing for a while

any idea of the ferry launch magically opened?

ferry launch is still froze in. ferry is breaking ice every trip. ice looks to be about 2-3 inches thick from what i could see this morning. too foggy this afternoon to see what ice was like but i see a cement boat at the picton cement plant on the way home so it may open yet
