I'm thinking about doing some ice fishing up north in the Gunter-Gilmor area I was just wondering if anyone was up in that area? Just need to know if the snow on the trails is high for a 4 wheelers and if there is ice.

Be very very careful if you venture even to the north. I know that a lot of the lakes and rivers up there are holding "NO ICE" that is safe. A lot of the water north of Ottawa is open as well and on another board that I visit the Lake Nippising's outfitters and guides have cancelled there ice operations at this time.
