Any information about fishing Dog Lake would be appriciated. I am coming up 2nd weekend in May to fish for crappie and pike. If you are familiar with the lake and its habitat I could use some pointers. Really would like to hear about where crappies can be found on this lake.

Len, small amount of info on dog lake can be found at www.fish-hawk.net/project_list.htm Click on dog cranberry lake for lake map and a few suggested areas to start your search for pike. fishhit

Fished Dog lake for Large mouth in the fall when we where living in Kingston. Caught a pair of 5 lbs one after the other during thanksgiving week-end a few yrs back, off steep drops. Sorry can't comment on Pike.

I would have ta say that it's quite a beautiful lake with something for everyone!! Had quite the intro tour with seaserpent and you will have no problem zeroing in on fish once seeing a map of Crannberry/Dog!! Lots of water; lots of fish; the only trouble you may have is drinkin Canadian beer!!

Ok Captain! So the fish are there, and how could I possibly have trouble with canadian beer when it only takes 2 of em to make me slur my speach and walk funny! Hell, that aint trouble thats easy. Thanks for the note :)
