Out at Sherman's today. Do Drop In swore there was 6 inches of ice. In reality there was 4 to 5. More like 4. There was a group of 8 four wheels flying out to the red marker at Shermans just at the mouth of the Reach. They could not have been on much ice.

The fishing was slow. The wind was wicked. Really Wicked. The most important thing today was tying down the Fish Trap very well.

Caught enough fish for Breakfast.

Oh well, there is alway tomorrow.

I don't thing I would be on 5" of ice in even a Smart Car. If I had an Astro, I think I would drive it out the 100 yards and walk home thinking I was better off without it.

I would think most would wait until the ice was over 12" thick before venturing out with a 4500 lb vehicle.

What's a Smart Car weigh? 450 lbs LOL
