Is there anyone will to share their experience in the Deseronto / Napanee area of Bay of Quinte.

Are you catching Walleye?

Everyone seems to want to talk about ice but I know the ice conditions I want to know hao the fishing is going.

Most of the fishermen who are catching fish do not have a computer and may be a little reluctant to tell you how they are doing.

They keep their best fishing spots to themselves.

I hope we can get some of them to tell us how things are going.

I heard that Tony expects to put his huts out by Forrester's Island this weekend.

Now the real fishing can begin and you should be able to get some walleye. Lets hope the rest of the week stays cold. We should book our hut and room as soon as possible.

Still looks like the weather is really cold for this weekend and probably for the next couple of weeks.

Hope we can get some information about the walleye fishing.

A few guys have been doing really well close to the bridge in Deseronto.

They caught a 13lb walleye and had their limit in less than 2 hours. Fishing in the area has been really great. These guys are just walking out and doing really well.

Will have more information later since I know two of the guys who are still out there and they will give more information.

I heard the catches were really great for some of the guys who were walking out in that area.

No one is talking about it on line. If anyone has more specific information please post your results.

Three of us from Pine Island, NY area came up on 1/14. We fished by the bridge on 1/15 and caught one 13lb. & one 7 lb. walleye. also released a 20" fish. On 1/16 caught one 10 lb. We fished 1/16 and 1/2 day on the 17th but only caught 1 more walleye , a 15" fish. Overall it was a slow fishing for all the fisherman we saw.
