Quinte Fishing

Iwas out just West of the Deseronto bridge last night and finally the walleyes seem to be coming into the area. I ahve been washing jigs there for thepast 4 days and had not even seen a fish on the scope. Last night, around 6:00 pm got into a nice run and had caught 6 between 6:00 and 6:30.

The ice is always really tricky in that area but right now there is a good 5 inches and is pretty consistent and hard.

I am finding that they fish seem to be hanging in shallower water. Typically I have fished between 30 and 25 feet. I ahve had my best success in water that is between 18 and 21 feet.

Hey LureWasher, great catch, what type of size were you getting, i have a friend that,s coming from Pennsylvania this weekend and we thinking of trying around Deseronto, do you have any suggestions as to where to fish or to park, any info would be appreciated, thanks Red
