Quinte Fishing

First off i would like to thank fry flier (gary) for his help, the waypoints you gave me for the launch were perfect as for the spots on the lake i did not fish i used them as refrence and fished in the area but not on your exact spots but thanks that was more than enough help.(i'll PM you with a return favor) Also thanks to those who replyed with there line setups although i didn't get to see the posts till I got home from the weekend .I ended up running everthing from 10 lb to some of my bass gear which is 14 lb fire line. As for the fishing we only were able to get out Sat. afternoon out of Big bay, big island area. we foud a solid school of perch but not very good size so we moved on to deeper water managed to get one eye 3.5 lb and marked lots more but no takers. We jigged a variety of spoons but the one we got came on a body bait. The weather the following two days sucked and could not talk the old lady into braving the elements. She says to me you would sleep in that hut wouldn't you? Yep yep I would. thanks again guys. I'll be back for round two. and if anyone is heading my way Lake St.Clair let me know I'll be glad to help any way i can. Tight lines .

Your welcome and I am happy that you were able to get at least 1 good day out of it. We were at Simcoe ourselves having a great day at the Hard Water Challenge hosted by the GoFishOnt.com board. Fish caught by us were all long distance released but we did manage to get an entry prize of an underwater camera.
