Just returned from the big bay, weather was cold ice conditions were great
fishing wasn't bad either. managed to find some fish by the bridge in Deseronto in 18-21' of water. One was 14.3 lbe one 12.6lbs the rest were
between 7 and 10lbs. There was six of us fishing, we started at the cable
x-ing nothing but pearch the same at Hay Bay. Moon told us there were a few being taken at the bridge so thats were we went and stayed for the rest of the trip. Saw quite a few other fishermen catching also. All the fish we caught were returned except for the 14lber which will be mounted. One disturbing thing thing we did see was people keeping slot fish, hope that some day people realize the slot is there so that we,ll plenty of eyes for years to come. Lure of choice were Jiggin rapalas #5 or #7 any color as long as you had a mud on it. Hope this info helps others to STRIKE GOLD.

Muleskinner,

Great Report, Something with some meat in it.
Thanks for what appears to be an honest report.

I hope the ice gets thicker because there is going
to be alot of people on that thin ice this Saturday.

Might be a good time to take of a Friday. :D
