Mobb style fishing

Hey guys,
Managed to get to the mouth in trenton for the 4th day in a row. the father in-law caught a nice 2lb white fish, I din't even know they were in the bay. I landed 3 nice eyes with a new personal best of 8.5 lbs. she had quite the pot belly on her too. I didn't want to keep it but she spit the hook right at the hole and when I grabbed it I tore a gill.

I will be back out there saturday for sure.

i have a feeling there are more whities in quinte than we know...jackson and I spoke with some natives in haybay last year (2007) and they spoke of the populations, and that all they (the specific ones we talked to) net is whities, leaving the walleye for the "locals".

i guess the whities are in higher numbers, but dont get targetted....

again, great catch!

does anyone know what the record whittie is for the area? The father in-law heard that this one might be eligible, the length on it is about 24". Told him I would post the question as I have no idea, Like I said I didn't even know they were in the bay.

In the fall (Oct.) I have caught whitefish 4-5 lbs at #1 dam.
