Now that Hardwater is almost over......

Hi all:

Now that hardwater fishing is just about at a close this season. Can anyone tell me the scoop on fishing rainbows and salmon in the quinte rivers? I have never fished for rainbows and would like to give that a try. The season is April is it not? or is it open year round in some areas?

Brown trout and rainbows are open all year in Zone 20.

Hi,
I think Skevy runs a shop for fly fishing on Thursday's(I THINK) and I know he has good idea of where to catch them perhaps he could help..... IM A WALLEYE NUT so I dont know much about trout and salmon, although I have saw the odd steelhead in a certain deep hole in the moira river.
