I was amazed to see at least 20+ Robins slightly north of Napanee today. Birds were seemingly everywhere....and this was indeed a surprise on such a cold day. Just a light tidbit.

I was recently told by a birder in Peterbough that
Robins often stay the whole winter in areas along
the Trent River. He also described how you could
see 10 or 20 on the coldest February day. It must
be a strange site.

Another bird I have seen many time along the 401
near Napanee is the Snowy White Owl.

Your right about the birds. As you know,
I had a Canada Goose fly into the front
of my truck at 6:30 AM on the way
to Hay Bay on Saturday.

The goose liked me so much it desided
to kiss my grill.

I think it ended up getting the kiss of death.

I did feel bad, I felt guilty that I didn't stop
and it mouth to beak.
