Spent the weekend with Dave in front of his dwelling. First fish was a pike at approx 6 lbs. I saw a few picks bounce of the lures, but no takers. The average fish spoted was picks at 6-7 lbs. The one thing he mentioned to me upon arrival was the pike sizes, well while looking down the hole I spoted the largest fish in my life time and fishing career. I figured it was at least 50 to 55" long and felt that if it took the bait I presented the hole was to small. Eventhough it was slow for Picks, pikes and muskie are just as good for the sole. Wow all I could think about was the action this fish wouldh've produced.
Thanks for your hospitality Dave.
