Quinte Fishing

Hi Folks. A delayed report on my trip to Hay Bay last sunday afternoon. About 15 people out at the old church. The ice was a solid 15 inches, fished in 18-19 feet of water.Didn't mark hardly anything on the portable Eagle except the odd baitfish. 2 of us tried quite a few lures, missed one walleye, otherwise, only perch, and lots of them on different colors and spoons. Even tried a power leech on one, the perch loved it.Didn't see any walleyes brought up, and everyone else left the ice quite early. We stayed till 6:00, to no avail. Oh well, we'll give it another try tomorrow. Don't know where to go this time, maybe Shermans or Thompsons, it depends on if there are any positive posts today or tomorrow morning.
