Dear Icefishermen,

Spent the latter part of the afternoon with one of the
guys that recently joined our discussions. We fished
the bridge from 3:30 til 6 pm with no luck. We were
fishing the standard lures in 26 feet of water. Checked
a couple holes on my walk out and they read 20 feet.
When I saw 26 feet it indicated a bit of a transition. Just
happened to be the same line used by about 30 other
fisherman out for the evening. Although we did not have
much luck, it was nice to be out again and secondly, to
enjoy the warm weather.

When we got back to our cars we shot the *** for a while.
Then a few people came in and indicated that the fish started
biting. According to hoyle they said two seperate guys
caught 4 each in a short period just into dark. We did not
see the evidence though. One gentlemen had about a 9lber
in his bucket. He said he caught it at Shermans point in
the morning. He was fishing straight out from the ramp
about half way to the opposite shore. He looked pretty fished
out, being out all day.

Sounds like the best advice I can give everyone is to stay out
as long as you can. Sometimes that is hard to do after 1000
jigs and nothing to show for it. We came in just at dark.

Well, maybe I will get out again. I hope. I hope I don't get
my sons cold. It may cramp my fishing style for the weekend.

My partner today just happened to be an English teacher. I
hope he doesn't grade me on my spelling. I'm like most people
on this site, I don't alway proof read.
