Anyone have an idea of the ice out in front of the Long Reach Campground, Forresters Island? 6 of us are heading up tomorrow till Tuesday.
The way I see it, this warm weather isn't going to hit the bay
to hard for to long. Looks to be colder up there this weekend
and early week.
We also fish Huffs Rd, which usually there is more ice there, but
a little bit of a drive. The bridge doesn't look that great but just
as long as we don't lose any more ice.
Any info will be helpful.

Thanks
Tobias

I don`t know about the reach but people have been driving trucks towing huts out of the boat ramp across from Sherman`s Point and Thompson` Point and have gone all the way over to the top of Glenn Island near the ferry docks on the Napanee side. There is as of last Saturday more than 18 inches of ice out from Thompson`s Point. I was out before being blown off because of the wind and cold. Got a a dozen good sized perch in about an hour

Fished huffs on Wed. morning in the high winds also. Lots of ice 14-18 inches. The bite was slow fished from 7-9 no luck jumped on the A.T.V.s and went north to the island before the run down to the Deseronto bridge, had been told the bite was good there on the weekend. Three of us fished for a couple of hours there with no luck again.Ice is very healthy in that entire area, looked as if not much was doing at the bridge as the crowd realy thined out by 12,(strong winds).Headed from there to Draper north of Kingston , 2 small 10 inch splakes. Overall a long dissapointing day, OH well Bracebridge here I come!! Good Luck this weekend
