Got out to fish Tuesday afternoon with Laker John and BayBoy, starting from Shermans Launch, we headed out several hundred yards to an area we have fished in the past.

We were in 26' of water and drilled a triangle of holes and began to fish at 1300.

The bite was slight with BayBoy landing some nice sized perch for his table fare. Laker John was able to pick up several perch also.

Until 1500, I had just a couple of perch bites and then I had a good hit and reeled in a nice 16" eye which will grace our table shortly.

Forgot to add, BayBoy got his perch on Swedish Pimples and Mr Champ, Laker John had his on Little Cleo and my walleye was on a Swedish Pimple(Chartruse).

The perch were biting lightly the rest of the afternoon and we packed it in at 1700 as it was really cooling down. Until 1500 hrs, we had fished without gloves, the sun was very warm and with NO wind, it was a really nice day.

No pictures, there wasn't enough action and only one eye.

Talking to other Board anglers at the ramp after the fishing, the walleye bite was virtually non-existent. Just perch said several, others said they had hit a couple of small eyes. Evryone is wondering where are the fish and why aren't they biting.

Keep trying and maybe the bite will start.

Stay Tuned.
