Non-Canadian License

Question: I make an annual trip from the States to BOQ, and usually time it to arrive, get my license and start fishing. This year, our arrival is such that we'd like to start fishing right away, which is likely before Skevy's and others open up for me to get an Ontario fishing license. So, here's the question. Does Ontario Fish & Game allow U.S. residents purchase licenses on-line (States allow us to do this)? If not, any advice?

I thought I had some customers buy their license online last spring, but I can't seem to where.

You can also get more information on the Outdoors Card by calling the Outdoors Card Centre at 1-800-387-7011. This toll-free number works from all of North America, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

Skevys opens at 6:00 am

Both bait shops in Belleville are now open by 6:00am, and often 5:30am. If you are coming on a weekend, then you should be able to get in at 5:30am. To be sure, call ahead or have Hardwater set it up.

You can call an 800 number and purchase both the license and outdoors card (required for non-residents as of this year). I do not have the number handy but will post it when i get to the office later this morning. I had the license in 5 days through the mail

Here is the number : 800-667-1940. I have gotten my license the last couple of years using this number, and it typically has taken not more than a week. With that said, they will not guarantee delivery in that time period, and with the mail system, leave yourself plenty of time. You can use Credit card. They will send you a paper receipt for your outdoors card that you have to carry with until you receive the plastic card, and, a receipt for your license, that takes the place of the old style license.
