Western NY(just outside of Buffalo). Returned this year for the second time in two years. Fished with Jason (Walleye Wizard,http://www.woodnwater.ca/) one day. Nice guy and I learned a lot about fishing for Walleyes on the BOQ(highly recommend him as a guide). If the creek doesn't rise I'll be back up Monday after taking my daughter back to school in Central NY . Makes my ride a little bit shorter but normally 4-5 hour drive.

My bro in law & I share a trailer at Mohawk Bay Park . He is from Ft. Erie & I live in St.Catharines where I ice fish from the same waters just across the lake at Port Dalhousie . We love the town of Napanee where we can go by boat or truck . The people who stay in the park are from all over the U.S & Ontario & some visitors from Europe ......very entertaining !

My fishing buddies & I love BOQ and usually make 1-2 trips from Ottawa in the Spring, and 3-5 trips in the Fall. Being retired, we usually avoid week-ends, and stay over one night - Napanee in the Spring, Picton in the Fall - makes the 3 hour drive a little easier on us old dudes.
