fishing tomorrow aft. haven't been out in 2 weeks. My hut is out from the boat launch just west of onderdonk point. hows the fishing there been and should I move the hut? Need some fresh eyes for a meal.

Good quesiton, was just thinking the same till i fished last night. My hut is now completly stuck in the ice due to pressure crack. Should be fun getting it out. ICE HUT FOR SALE lol

Steph, we get the odd one froze in too. Bank snow around it, turn the heater on high,go for breakfast. You have to give it time to thaw. Couple hours in this weather you should be able to pop her out. Just don't be in a hurry when you are doing it or the hut will be destroyed..Gary

went out and fshed at the hut. Got one 4lber. And chipped the hut out and got it up on the snow. New holes drilld. All in all a productive day.

Assassin,

Thanks so much about the tip, I will defenitly try this technique. With the warm weather coming this week hopefully it will help. You know, I did have it up on wooden 4X4 and still managed to sink right down to the floor. I guess I should move it more often.
